Message search in Chatter, and searchable settings
Web, iPhone and Android
Improvements
- Managers see a warning on Home when phone carriers are blocking the team's texts, and Communications and Notification History list texts that didn't arrive in the last 14 days, by person and reason.
- Finder shows a badge with how many players are waiting for an answer on games you posted.
- The Roster has stat columns for pickleball, volleyball, football, ultimate, lacrosse, golf and cycling, and managers can type stat totals in directly.
- Duties now match the team's sport
- The Team Waiver settings now explain that players see a notice on the team home screen until they sign.
Fixes
- Emergency contacts save once the name, relationship and phone are all filled in, and say what's still missing until then.
- Edit Player checks emergency contacts before saving the player, and the two contact cards line up with the rest of the form.
- Importing events from a file skips the games marked as already on the schedule.
- Phone numbers imported to the Roster keep the right country code.
- Team names with plus signs or apostrophes come through whole when syncing a calendar.
- The Schedule shows every game again after you edit one further down the list.
- Deleting an event closes its page and returns you to where you were.
- Starting a group chat that can't be created explains why instead of opening an empty chat.
Web
You can now search any Chatter conversation and jump straight to the message you're looking for. League managers can build a round-robin season from their available time slots, and team, league and account settings can be searched too.
Search in Chatter
Search looks through the whole conversation, including older messages you haven't scrolled back to. Matching words are highlighted in each message, and the search bar shows which result you're on out of how many, with arrows to step to older and newer results. Choosing a result scrolls to that message and briefly highlights it.
Anything you were typing in the message box is still there when you close search. On a computer, Enter moves to the next older result, Shift+Enter to a newer one, and Escape closes search.
Generate Schedule for Leagues
Generate Schedule starts from the dates, times and venues your league has, either from an Excel or CSV file or added row by row, with templates for both. It pairs the teams in each division so everyone plays each other, gives byes when a division has an odd number of teams, and balances home and away games.
Before any games are made, a preview shows each matchup in its slot, with how many games were scheduled, how many were left over and any conflicts. Managers can regenerate the pairings, swap home and away or change a matchup, and any team or venue booked twice at once has to be cleared first. Then every game is created at once, with the option to notify teams. Generate Schedule is in the Add menu on the league's schedule.
Search Settings
Results show where each setting lives, like Automatic Reminders › Email Gameday Reminder. Opening one goes straight to that page and highlights the setting, so there's no hunting through menus.
Results only include settings your team actually has, like goalie settings for sports with goalies. League settings and your Account settings have the same search.
Improvements
- Chatter messages on the web have a ••• button that appears when you hover over them, opening the same actions as right-clicking.
- The message menu in Chatter on the web has a row of quick reactions at the top, and messages with several images let you pick which one to copy or save.
- Phone numbers in Profile and Emergency Contacts format as you type, and Email in Profile is edited right on the page.
- On Lines, player cards are wider, fill the space on large screens and wrap long names instead of cutting them off.
- When designing gear in the Store, every print area shows as a small preview of that side of the product with its price, a check when it has artwork, and a note when it can't be combined with another area.
- Teams run by a league show the league's timezone in Team Settings, which only a league admin can change, and syncing a calendar no longer suggests switching it.
Fixes
- Printing Lines from Safari on an iPad prints the sheet instead of a blank page.
- Buttons in confirmation dialogs show a pointing hand on the web.
