Parents can link a child who already has a BenchApp account by confirming it's theirs, either with an email to the child or by signing in with the child's account. Family now has a Pending section, so requests still waiting on a confirmation stay separate from linked children.
Confirm Child Accounts Before Linking
Adding a child with an email that already has a BenchApp account opens Link child. Choose Send confirmation email and your child taps Confirm family link in the email, or choose Log in as child and use their password or their Google, Apple or Facebook sign-in. You stay signed in to your own account the whole time, and linking finishes on its own once your child confirms. You can resend the email, try another way, or pick Done for now and finish later.
Requests still waiting on a confirmation now have their own Pending section in Family, where you can verify them or remove them and add the child again with the right email. Your Parents and Children lists show only linked family members. A child who opens the email sees who asked and confirms on a simple page, with a note to confirm only if it's their parent or guardian.

- Pull down on Drinks to refresh who's on drinks next.
Fixes
- BenchApp opens normally on iPhones running iOS 17.
- On Android, the back button on Lines and Batting Order returns to the event instead of closing the app.
- If Quick Score can't load a game, you can try again right there.
